Srikanth Dadakaput of Fern Avenue was holding a yard sale on the same day he scheduled a viewing for his recently deceased father at his home. A large crowd arrived at the house both hoping that Mr. Dadkaput was indeed dead and to snag some good bargains. In the chaotic mix of commerce and grief, Sri accidentally sold his dad’s casket to the Carneys down the street, who mistook it for a buffet table.

Mrs. Carney was thrilled with her new buffet table, especially the prominent cross on the top. For her first family dinner, the place settings were beautiful and the food looked amazing but the whole house smelled liked diseased asshole. The family had a good laugh when they finally figured out the problem.
Sri still gets to visit his dad when he plays cards with the Carneys on Thursday nights. “Last time we played poker”, he says “I won back my dad’s watch that Mr. Carney was wearing.”
