Wildwood Wawa Voted “Gayest Wawa” By Actual Gays

Out Magazine’s annual poll for the "Gayest" convenience store/gas station has crowned the Wildwood Wawa on Rio Grande Avenue as this year’s winner.

“It’s fabulous that we’ve achieved the honor of Gayest Wawa,” says store manager Frank Liberace.

Originally designed with a beach theme, the Wawa’s aesthetic took an unexpected turn when the architect experienced a sudden sexual awakening, transforming it into an '80s-style dance club. “During lunch, when the disco ball drops from the ceiling and the music starts playing, everyone gets free whipped cream. You can choose in a cup or on your face or get a squirt straight into your mouth while someone pulls your hair.”

Mr. Liberace embraces the store’s open and inclusive atmosphere. “Come in dressed as a man on Monday to order an Italian hoagie, then show up as a woman on Tuesday and take 45 minutes to order a latte. Be whoever you want to be.”

However, not everything is perfect. “The hot dogs are always missing, no one wants the tuna, and customers keep complaining there’s glitter in the food,” he admits.
